  • Board Feet Baseline: Calculated as 1 Square Foot at 1 Inch Thickness (12" x 12" x 1"). Standard closed-cell yields approximately 4,500 bd-ft per set; open-cell yields up to 17,000 bd-ft per set under laboratory conditions.
  • Framing & Over-Spray Wastage: Wall cavity framing, stud pass-overs, wind conditions, and gun clearing naturally waste material. A 10% to 15% safety margin is recommended for standard stud walls, up to 20%+ for complex trusses.
